Got this from another board. HabsRus Member MapJust click "additions", then click "add marker-simple" and fill out your name and the city you live in. Or in some cases your cell block number will be sufficient. |

How did you get your marker to look like a CH? Mine is just a red flag. Download your favourite Habs logo. Open the HabsRus Members map and click on your marker. Select "Customizations" and then "Marker Icons" to bring up the various icons available. Click on the "Browse" button for any marker other than the first one (otherwise everyone will end up with the same maker) and then go to the directory where you saved the logo you downloaded. Select that logo and press "open". Back on the "Customize Marker Icon" select "submit" and that should work. There may be some issues with this if everyone tries to upload their own markers - we may end up making everyone who chose the same basic marker as us have the same "new" marker. For example, as a test I changed the first (default) marker to the CH and it changed yours and Bad Company's to the CH as well, so I reverted back to default and chose a different marker for me. FYI, the marker I chose and modifyed was the last one on the list (a candle). I suspect if you choose the candle marker and then change it to your own logo it will change mine as well. NOTE: I just did a test. I set up a "dummy" addtion and selected the last (candle) marker as a marker. It came up as the same CH as I selected for myself. Based on that I would suggest that anyone who wants to use "my" CH just simply select the candle marker. If anyone changes the candle marker they will end up changing my marker and everyone else's who uses that marker (if you get my drift). I would also suggest that if you want a different marker than select one not already in use and note in this thread which "basic" marker you have changed. Maybe someone should track these for future users so we don't end up having a "newbie" screw up others' markers. :-) For now the list of modified markers is as follows: red bubble - no change Lilac = Maxum Man candle - CH |
