Habs sign goalie Zachary Fucale

He finished playing half the scrimmage today and was welcomed by Max who crashed into him twice, but he left after the game with an entry level deal. The Habs did not have to sign him until 2015, but they seem to like getting these deals over with early for kids they will sign anyway.

Zachary joins McCarron, Bozon, Collberg and Hudon who all will be playing junior this season with their entry level deals done and out of the way. A little early access to the signing bonus?

Good to see. Yes, maybe you'll make the occasional mistake, but I much prefer that to leaving the kids hanging, hoping and not really establishing that loyalty early on. Fucale has obviously passed his initial exams.
