The young man is from Stittsville, ON. That's just outside Ottawa and a few minutes drive from Kanata (where the Sens play).
Good luck to him.
Cheers.

Yep. Interesting that he got a three year deal. He's bounced around A LOT during his jr career, having played in the OHL and Q. Late bloomer perhaps. A modern day Wendel Clark would be nice.

Perhaps the influx of scouts under MB is about to pay dividends.
It should be.
Sure would be nice to have a Wendel....or even a Fergie middleweight.
Thanks blny.

No problem CH. It's worth noting that former Hab/Bulldog Gordie Dwyer is the coach there. Perhaps there's a connection to the organization that way. I'll see if I can get to a Mooseheads game against PEI for some in person scouting.

Maybe another Brandon Prust?
Prust wasn't playing in the OHL at 18, and only got drafted at 20 after putting up 52 points (64 games) and 260pims in London. Nevins seems to be following a similar path...he's bigger than Prust (6'2" 210 already) and seems to be able to throw them pretty well based on the clips i've seen.

Prust might be a good comparable if he has any defensive awareness. Next time PEI are in Halifax is January 3rd.
