Here is another in the excellent line of articles coming from M. Brunet. This one talks about our goalie prospects Danis, Halak and Heino-Lindberg, with some nice praise from both Savard and Melanson. The article goes on to talk about Savard's pleasure with Hainsey's approach and play this season, Jarvis' patient approach with Kostitsyn, and management's hope for Higgins and Milroy to get more offensive production.

Of Ron Hainsey's 6 penalties, a full half (3, for the mathematically impaired) were for roughing. 1 other was for cross-checking.

Danis off to a great start. It will be very interesting to see how he fares as the season wears on, as other teams start to get to know him, and as he fatigues, due to the crazy AHL schedule (as compared to the NCAA schedule).

As an aside, watched that game the other day (boring!) and Ellis looked terrible, in my opinion. Both goals should have been stopped, even if one of them did deflect off of Focht...
