Chris Higgins beat Terry Carkner of the Barons to the draw with a cross check to the chops before Carkner could clobber him. He was given a 5 minute penalty and suspended for one game. Lucky his name isn't Perezhogin.
Here's the bulletin:
The American Hockey League announced today that Hamilton Bulldogs center Chris Higgins has been suspended for one (1) regular season game as a result of his actions in a November 2, 2004, AHL game in Cleveland.
Higgins will miss Hamilton’s next regular season game on Friday, Nov. 5 versus Cleveland.
