An observation from my 8 year old daughter on Ron Hainsey following the Dogs 3-1 victory over the Clevland Barons. I couldn't disagree with a ton of ice-time Hainsey still looks akward out on the Bulldogs D. Hopefully it was just one of those games, the icetime will surely benefit him as he looks still to find his stride. My first look at the Dogs this year was pretty much uneventful against a poor Barons squad who really didn't do anything. I was looking forward to see who stood out for the baby Habs but...I left disappointed as nobody really stood out out of the young crop. The Baron lacklustre play may have put the young dogs to sleep. Ward is head and shoulders the best player, but thats to be expected. Danis looks to be the real deal in net, but he wasn't really tested.Positionally he looks very sound. Will have to see him really tested to get a better feel. Looking forward to going again soon, hopefully with a more upbeat game. Go Dogs HFTO

Phew, at least your daughter wasn't referring to Hainsey off the ice.
He managed to keep his balance enough to lead the Dogs with 5 shots. Kostitsyn, Plekanec and Ward tied for second with 3 each.
