In what I can only now describe as the continuing Ellis jinx, Dogs end up on the losing end of a tough fought 1-0 game against the Amerks. Ellis is almost perfect and gives up a flukey goal on a bad bounce on a clear in early in the first, yet the team does everything but score in front of him. Things that make you go hmmmmm. www.canoe.ca/Bulldogs/News/2004/11/10/709014.html

Sometimes, nothing goes right or wrong. Ellis seems to be in one of those negative zones. Too bad for the team. I suspect there's an agreement with the Stars to play Ellis a certain number of games, otherwise, I'd be sitting him 80% of the time, till he got over this malaise.

I'd be sitting him 80% of the time, till he got over this malaise. Because making 30 some odd saves and only letting in one goal is oh so shameful . Bench him dammit! He's not a Habs prospect. Gee, why am I not surprised that his effort last night is ignored. Give the guy a freakin break. He played well regardless of who owns his rights.

I'm not saying throw him in the garburator, but the team wins when he doesn't play and that's the bottom line. A short rest might help him turn the corner. If the roles were reversed, I'd be sayiing the same thing abour Danis. I'm an equal opportunity sadist.
