The Habs have signed 23 year old defenseman Mac Bennett to a two year entry level deal. He finished up his final season with the University of Michigan as their captain. He is a smooth skating defenseman who was paired for a couple of seasons with Greg Pateryn at Michigan. The deal kicks in next season. If they want him to get a few games in with Hamilton this season, they can sign him to a PTO...but they will have to hurry as the a Dogs are almost done like dinner.
