I notice that Ryan Glenn is playing for the Charlotte Checkers who are a farm team for the Rangers and the Senators. He has 6 points in 16 games.
I can't believe he couldn't have helped Long Beach and provided some added depth to our defense within the minor leagues.

According to my son, Glenn looked like a pretty good D in his last year of college. Considering the crap free agents Gainey signed before the season (Gavin Morgan immediately comes to mind), passing on Glenn might not have been a great move.

Ryan had his best season by far and helped st lawrence get a big upset win in the playoffs last year. I figured we would let Scott Selig go, but I really thought Glenn would get a shot by us.
