After starting the season a depressing 0-9, Dan Ellis finally hits the win column as the Bulldogs win a big 4-1 game against Cleveland this afternoon. When you also account for last night's OT loss against Chicago, that is 3 out of a possible 4 points this weekend (a tough loss that saw Gavin Morgan take a 5 minute major with 45 seconds left in the game and Jancevski got a minor half a minute into OT, so they played most the OT two men down...not a surprising loss). Hopefully a turning point and a momentum builder for the young Dogs. Looks like Kostitsyn and Milroy are playing well together as they were in on the only goal last night and got the Dogs first goal today. The PP still needs work as it was 0-8 last night and 0-3 again this afternoon.

Did I mention Dan Ellis wins his first?

So they're losing all of those games because of fabulous goaltending on the AHL level? I'm at least slightly skeptical. I see very little of the AHL, so I can't vouch for the quality of the shots. But isn't it at least plausible that many of those shots aren't particularly dangerous?
