Kostitsyn to Play in WJC

The Hamilton Bulldogs have given their 19 year old Belarusian the thumbs up to play in his fifth consecutive WJC later this month in North Dakota. Andrei will likely get lots of ice time as the team's premier player and we here in Canada will get to see Belarus' game against the US, as TSN will be showing that game (Belarus is in the other group, so they don't play against Canada). Good news for AK.

I edited this to also add the link to TSN's television coverage scehdule for the WJC, and to note that the aforementioned Belarus-US game takes place on the evening of Wednesday, December 29th.

A further edit to note that the first Canadian round robin game is on Christmas Day against Slovakia, a team that features Habs' prospect Jaroslav Halak (currently with the Lewiston Maineiacs of the QMJHL) and the next game is against Sweden on December 27th, a team that features another Hab goalie prospect, Chris Heino-Lindberg (currently tearing up the Swedish 2nd League with Hammarby).
