A late goal by Ott made it 3-2. Ellis was in net. Higgins didn't play.

That shot that Higgins took off the foot on Monday night looked like a real sore one. What makes it worse is that he missed Saturday's game from another blast off the foot that he took late in Friday's game. That must be one sensitive foot right about now.
The Dogs' PP is now on a 0 for 45 run, which means that all those close games (SO loss on Monday, 3-2 last night) are only a few PP goals away from being more points in the bank. I have no idea how a PP can go this long with no production, but it better improve soon or this is going to be one heck of a long season.
Kosty continues to look good, so I expect that he will have another great WJC.
