Woot! Jason pots one as the Dogs race out to a 4-1 lead over the Roadrunners.
Make it 5-1 as Plekanec notches his second goal of the game.
6-1; Kostitsyn with his 10th.
Higgins with a pair of helpers and a fighting major; just needs a goal for a Gordie Howe hat-trick.
Dogs being beaten in the third - outshot 11-2 near the midway mark, and the score 6-2. Make it 6-3.
Ott makes it 7-3 with 10:20 to go. 3 point (1-2) night for Ward so far. Wonder if he's sporting a bandana under his helmet?
7-4, and sorry, no Ellis.
And that's the final. Dogs led 6-1 after two with a 24-19 edge in shots. They were outscored 3-1 in the third period and outshot 20-9. Hmmm, what's up with that?

Fun game and I got me a bandana!!
Flew back this morning TO-Edm on the same flight as the RoadRunners. Bet they liked last year's bus trips down the QEW better.

Typical third period from the Dogs of late, the good news was that they had a big enough lead to preserve the two points. Edmonton took 40 minutes to start skating, although giving up some stinky goals tends to take a bit of a jump out of your step.
