HAMILTON (CP) - The cancellation of the NHL season may mean no Saturday night meetings between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Montreal Canadiens for a while. But the rivalry is still alive in the American Hockey League.
A ticket for a game between the Hamilton Bulldogs, Montreal's AHL affiliate, and the St. John's Maple Leafs, at Copps Coliseum is definitely in demand.
"My dad was a Habs fan," said Hamilton forward Chris Higgins. "Toronto-Montreal was it for him in terms of rivalries.
