absolutely ridiculous that Nolan goes. the fact that he did everything Murray wanted doesn't factor in (maybe he was fired because the Sabres won too many games!).

The only excuse Murray can have is that Nolan wasn't 'his guy'. McKenzie is predicting that the Sabres will make a hard run at Babcock, of course everyone without a coach is going to inquire.

Not sure about this one ... kind of reminds me of when the Houle fired Alain Vigneault ... he was just the fall guy for talent-less rosters ... Nolan shouldn't be out of work for too long ... might be a kick in the gonads if he went to Toronto ... he'd be starting literally at the ground level there ...
