Better hope they find a goalie in that time. Maybe they go after Dubnyk if he hits the market. Maybe they offer up one of their under achievers for one of the three Ottawa goalies. |

While I don't think Hitch necessarily deserves anymore than the year, it does seem an odd message. Does it mean Armstrong isn't going to make any moves this summer? It's a 'this is your last chance' vote of confidence for the players and the coach? Armstrong can't be on a very long leash either. |

The Blues originally drafted Bishop & traded him to Ottawa for a 2nd rounder. He's far better than anything they have now. When people talk about Bishop now they don't seem to mention that he did play for the Blues. |
