Very cool nostalgia... never seen this picture before. Wedding InterruptedIs that Bobby Rousseau on the right, The Pocket Rocket and Claude Provost in the car behind? And is that John Ferguson in the third car back?

Correct on the first two cars….and likely the third. That could be Fergie.

Of the the 24 summers from 1956 to 1979, the Habs held 15 parades. Can you imagine that? The fountain of envy has been filling the glasses of the unwashed for decades. It tastes like hatred to them....but it's envy.
What a morale boost it must've been for the city during that run!

I like these old shots too. I just hope we can live through another Cup or five in the next 10 years. It's important to create new Cup memories. Hear that, Berg?

My comment was to contrast what players used to wear for the parade back in the day, to what they wear nowadays ... here's some contrast from the period Willie Dog showed, to the 70's and I'm trying to find some shots from the '93 parade ... I have a magazine that shows les boys in black championship t-shirts, but can't find it online ... seen some teams wear their colours too ... I was looking at the historical aspect ... should have maybe explained that a bit better ... edit: Note that Guy Lapointe is drinking Labatt's 50 ... there were much better beers back in the day, in my humble opinion ...

Gotta love those clothes from the disco era.
