The Bulldogs roped Manitoba 4-2. It wasn't easy. Danis stopped 41 of 43 shots. Higgins took 8 shots, scored 2 goals, and came out of it +2. He now has 19 goals and lately has appeared almost unstoppable. He's in fourth gear now and is definitely overcoming his slow start.

He definitely looked the best player on the ice. Danis positioned himself well. I didn't see him having to make any difficult saves.

Danis was very sound positionally all night, and really took so many shots in the middle of his chest which makes goalie coach's smile.
Higgins is really in a groove now. He plays well along the boards and really goes to the net with conviction. He and Pleky seem to be building some real nice chemistry together.
Hamilton still looks really scrambly in their own end, especially behind their own net. Komo being ready in the next two weeks will be a big boost for their D. I have enjoyed the couple of games that I have watched the ECHL call-up James Sandford. He is quite tiny but plays with a big heart and works hard out there. He likely will be the odd man out when Komo is ready.
