Wolves jump out to a 2-0 lead after 20, only to see the Dogs storm back with 3 goals in the first 6 minutes of the 2nd, a lead they took into the final frame. The tough and Bouwmeester and Weiss enhanced lineup netted a couple in the last 20 and eeked out a tough fought 4-3 win despite being outshot by the Cardiac Canines. A shot at a fourth straight come from behind win for the Pooches came up short. Too bad, as the Baby Leafs beat the Road Runners and Syracuse won and Cleveland is winning, so the Dogs could have moved into that elusive 4th and final PO spot and kept some breathing room against those other two. Oh well, another shot tomorrow night against the Baby Wings and then the RR's visit on Sunday after a weekend on the Rock (did I mention that is a real road trip from H-E-double-hockey-sticks for Rocky and the boys).
Goals from Wardo, Begin and Hainsey (on the PP). Has Hollywood Hainsey finally made the transition into Rocket Ron? Let's hope so, but I still reserve final judgement.

They too were convinced that the Komo thunder hit was going to result in a Dogs' PP, instead somehow Komo ends up with 6 minutes of penalties.
