Locke ends a 18 game scoring drought with a big goal half way through the 3rd. Assists to Ferland and Ivanans, as that line seems to be playing well of late. 3-0 Dogs.

Huge win. 3-0 against the Crunch on the road, to open a three point lead on Syracuse.
Danis was massive. 43 saves. 5th shutout (ties franchise record). 25th win (new franchise record).

Locke ends a 18 game scoring drought with a big goal half way through the 3rd. Finally! Danis was massive. 43 saves. 5th shutout (ties franchise record). 25th win (new franchise record). I seem to be reading of his exploits more and more. 43 saves -- he really is preparing to be ion goal for the Habs once there is a season! And I'm ready to eat crow. Wasn't too long ago that I was pointing to a 12-point gap between the Dogs and 4th place. Glad to eat it, though.

Crow is tasty when it is for a good cause. Danis will definitely get the spotlight after tonight's inspiring performance, but others are stepping up big lately. Ward is playing his best hockey of the season, Begin is a man possessed, Komo has been a huge addition and has helped Hainsey play his best hockey in a long time, Kosty is playing well and is gelling with Wardo and Begin, Higgins is his usual solid self, and the supporting cast is also stepping it up. These guys will need this kind of effort to keep it going for the final seven games of the season. The good news is they control their own destiny as they now have a three point lead for that last playoff spot. Here's the Dogs' site writeup and details of the big win. www.canoe.ca/Bulldogs/News/2005/04/02/980564.html
