For the first time in 45 years, the Toronto Maple Leafs are set to unveil a new logo ahead of their centennial season.
The logo will be unveiled on Tuesday during The Leaf: Blueprint on TSN4 at 9:30pm et, following the Leafs/Bruins contest available in the Leafs' region.
The 2016-17 campaign will mark both the NHL's and Toronto's 100th season. The franchise began as the "Toronto Arenas" in 1917.
The Maple Leafs' current logo has remained largely unchanged since 1970 tsn.camy first thought: it is merely this years way to fill the coffers. a close second: "The Maple Leafs' current logo has remained largely unchanged since 1970" -- like their play.
