The game Michael Ryder took the team on his back ... Ryder was on a line with Maxim Lapierre and Mark Streit in that game. Good times, good debates back then. Ryder initially was credited with a hat-trick if I remember correctly and later the third goal was credited to Streit. |

One of my three favourite Ryder games.
The other two:
2006 playoffs, Game 2. Was it 2 goals vs. Carolina...including the OT winner. Only to have the Williams high stick on Koivu change the momentum.
The other was Game 82, 2007. A natural hat-trick vs. the Leafs in a must-win game....all for naught.
All three games ended in 6-5 scores. Ha!

Saw Ryder score a hat-trick against the Flyers on Super Bowl Sunday a few years back ... the Flyers had some key injuries and Montreal won that one 5-0 ... saw him score against the Senators ... I was sitting 7 rows up from the ice and it's a different perspective from there ... the game is faster when you're that close ... the game where Spezza dipsy-doodled around Souray and then Theodore for the OT winner ... I think Ribs might have had 2 goals ...
