hmmm, Pirri for a 6th rounder, I guess you can traded injured players *cough*DD*cough* 20 goal scorer last year. Still an RFA, but with arbitration rights. Unusually low return. Very low return.

Redline Report thinks the draft has no depth. Okay, let’s get right down to brass tacks: This year’s NHL draft depth is bad.
There, we said it. Don’t get us wrong — we love the grouping in the top 10; even the next dozen or so down to No. 22 on Red Line Report's list list offer considerable promise.
But there’s a steep decline in talent in the mid-20s, and then things drop off a cliff around the middle of the second round.
We are struck by the comparison of the players we had ranked in the 20s through the mid-40s in 2015 to now. It's not pretty once you get past the mid-20s in 2016, there are a lot of warts and no sure bets.www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nhl/draft/2016/02/21/2016-nhl-draft-matthews-jake-bean-chychrun-depth/80668094/ This is good info. At least it helps in judging value when considering a move. If you're offered a pick around #40 and lower, you really have to judge whether it's better than a 6th rounder. So far our own 2nd rounder is close to that iffy area and the Minnesota one is even worse. This is one of those draft years where a good scouting department can make all the difference. Kyle W can be a bit of a contrarian. Other scouting services seem to imply the depth is a bit more than that. That being said, mid second rounders (and we have likely two) are all about good scouting and a healthy dose of luck as to how those players develop. This range means there are still gaps in their game. Some are able to address those, others don't.

So no move for Parenteau? The experts figured he would be a goner. I guess he was injured Saturday.
And Drouin stays put until the summer? More good advice from Allan Walsh.

Looks like Bruins have acquired Liles from Canes.
There are more tweets about those that didn't move than players who did.

I had this 1% hope that we'd end up with Drouin, but I think Gilbert's injury threw that one into the toilet. Tampa would have liked a Gilbert type dman and obviously you'd have to enrich the deal, but you could probably add something.
DSP moved for Stephane Matteau. That's ok.
