Let me be the first: I beg forgiveness for my lack of faith . . . but 11 points back and playing the way they were . . . it looked impossible. Good thing there is a full season and that teams play out the string. GO DOGS!

As Hainsey lamented after the game last night, they've now "won" the honour of playing the Rochester Americans and the extremely talented Ryan Miller. As Hainsey pointed out, Miller has owned them in the past, and just set some 40 year old AHL record, or something (missed the exact details). A very, very tough task lies ahead for the Dogs.
Having said that, the Americans have been on cruise control for some time now, and are backing into the playoffs playing some rather poor hockey. Question, will the Dogs let up, and finally exhale, now that their mad dash is over, or will they pounce on a complacent 1st place team and give them a run for their money?

Jarvis has had them playing "Playoff Hockey" for over 3 months now. That is all the Dogs know. I believe they might even have another gear! I have a feeling we haven't seen what they can accomplish as a team yet. I Believe!

Jarvis has definitely got the team playing bandwagon hockey.

If the Dogs win it all, and the lawyers force the NHL to allow the Stanley Cup to be awarded to the winning AHL team, does it count as a Montreal Canadiens win?

As they boast on their website "The Only Professional Hockey in Ontario" they could also boast "The only Professional Team in Ontario to win the Cup since 1967".
