We all know that the next draft most likely won't go off as originally scheduled. However, I think that it is of interest to share opinions of which players would be interesting from OUR perspective for the Habs to consider selecting. I must admit that many of the best players are not participating in this tourny. And many that are had had limited viewings ( speaking personally of course.) For one I have been really impressed by a couple of "Q" d-men. Luc Bourdon has been a rock and Letang has been solid and providing some offense from the point. I'd like the Habs to consider one of them. I'm really interested in seeing the U.S. team in particular because of Jack Johnson, Skille and Stoa. Czech Hanzal (sp) has the skills, but I don't like a player who turtles to avoid an oncoming check. The Russians were unimpressive this year. I honestly can't say anything about the Finns. Sweden's Bergfors is extremely talented but at this point doesn't use his 4 icemates. Someone who's really drawing my interest is Guillaume Latendresse....... a power forward in the making. (IMHUO)

If two consecutive draft crops are telescoped into one, it'll be harder for the scouting staff to rank the candidates and it'll certainly be harder for the fans. However, the Habs ought to be able to find a few with a good chance of making the NHL.
