I was looking at the draft boards Habs and the last 10 picks were either a C or D. No wingers or goalies, makes sense as it seems like the real premium is going towards centres and defence these days whereas goalies can blossom or be found under a rock. Probably just an area of perceived weakness. Can't argue with it. Easier to convert a centre to wing than vice-versa.

TT has mentioned a number of times over the last few years that they favour centres and PMD, all else being equal. He mentioned in his interview after this draft they were looking to bolster their D prospects, and had a few targeted in the second round as well before they traded away those picks.

Much easier to move an extra center to wing than visa versa
