Reports out of Edmonton are that Chiarelli traded Hall to make a push for Lucic

I don't know what to think about this honestly. It's like the whole organizations is 15 years late to the bruising hulk party. Just turned 28. He should be capable of 20-25 goals and upwards of 60 points wherever he goes. Cro magnon levels of stupidity aside, he does offer some of what the club can use. His penalty mins are down pretty substantially because he doesn't fight much anymore.
1. I see him pulling a Shanahan/Hull and using us to bid up other teams. 2. I don't see how he and Emelin can manage on the same team. Emelin's ntc/nmc becomes a modified one where he can submit a list of ten teams he won't accept a trade to.

After all the history with the Bruins I couldn't see him considering MTL seriously.

You might be surprised how the colour green can blind someone to other colours (black & gold vs. bleu, blanc et rouge for example).

TSN is expecting that Lucy is going to Edmonton. 7 years and $42 million.

About a month ago, Pierre lebrun was on 690 and said the acquisition of Weber moved the Habs from the bottom of the list to runner-up in the Lucic sweepstakes. If there wasn't that history with boston, he signs with the habs. That is alright with me because I'd rather have Radulov. However, the point to me shows with Weber's perception around the league among players, he seems to increase Habs ability to attract free agents. Of course, it could be Lucic and Weber are good buds and it's nothing more than that. I don't know for sure??
