Doesn't seem to be himself this year. Including World Cup and training camp, not just first 2 games. Maybe there is something to Therrein's comments(or he thinks there is anyway), which has hurt his confidence. See any chance he is traded in near future?

2 games is a really small sample size. He's a notoriously slow starter.

After the last game all the players skated to Montoya, except 2, Weber skated to DD to give him a pat on the head while our Captain just sat on the bench.

Wonder if it works everytime?

Noticed Pacioretty more last night ... not because he scored but because he seemed a lot more focused/determined, both on and off the ice ... he scored and set up Desharnais, but I also noticed the way he got up from the bench after the 1st and strode into the dressing room ... his body language suggested to me that he might have been a tad miffed with something ... maybe it had something to do with giving up as many shots as they did (17) in the period; however, that's only a guess on my part ....
Cheers.

I think he may have been stewing on something after the Ottawa game ... at that point he only had 3 SOG in two games ... not sure if that was it, but he looked great against Pittsburgh ... Cheers.
