why? we are not exactly swimming in defensive depth right now. we don't have a consistent #6 right now and we would then be trading our #5 away.

He's on his second NHL team. The Rangers board has mentioned he's got some attitude issues. Kane-lite perhaps.
Anthony had a good year last year, but both he and Domi are having horrible starts to their years.

I'd consider looking at getting him over the summer if possible, but right now we have few trading chips that we don't need in the immediate future, other than picks and distant prospects.
I have to admit that when a guy is on his 2nd team and is available, I start wondering if his head is in the right place. Duclair had issues in Junior, as well (got sat for off-ice issues).
I do think it's time to move Beau to whoever in the league thinks he could still become something, because I don't think he'll work out, not here in any case. Beau + 2nd rounder for another teams best D who will end up unprotected in the expansion draft ?
