Habs may trade up for Johnson

MONTREAL GAZETTE: Pat Hickey reports the Canadiens, who hold the fifth overall pick in tomorrow's draft, might be interested in moving up in the order. The Anaheim Mighty Ducks have made it known they're willing to entertain offers for the second overall pick. The Habs are believed interested in prospect defenceman Jack Johnson, who's set to enrol in the University of Michigan this fall.

So it looks like Ryan may be gone too. Whew...one of my least favourites of the top 6. Skating is such a big issue for me, and will be a larger one in the 'new' NHL, if the powers that be really do enforce their mandate. Has anyone else besides me noted that the clutching and grabbing seemed to coincide with Goodenow's ascension to the NHLPA throne? Coincidence?
