CBC is reporting that Don Cherry's been fired. He tweeted that Cam Newton should act more like Aaron Rodgers in a celebration. This...coming from a guy who dressed like Cherry does. I find it Karmatic (my word) since Cherry had so many criticisms of PK for the same thing. It ends up being what he gets fired for. Delicious.
CH, there goes half your material. Sorry bout that.
Now we just have to wait to see if anyone else confirms this.
Can't find anything else on it and CBC's news page has nothing on it. Weird. Someone playing a gag? That would be too bad. My day was almost made.

Gotta be a hoax. When you google search "Don Cherry fired" the top hits are his reactions to the Gallant firing and then stories from 2014 about he and Ron being upset about their reduced roles with HNIC.

CBC SportsClick bait to garner better ratings than ever for this Saturday when he "apologizes"..... Only serious physical health issues can take him off the air at this stage. This Tweet is in line with all the other "mental" blurts he's gotten away with for decades. "Oh, that's just Don being Don...." [cha-ching]
