Aubin placed fourth among MAINEiacs in 2004-05 regular-season scoring--41 points behind fellow 2005 draft-eligible center Alex Bourret; owns a very projectable frame but needs to add a lot of strength to his 6-3 body in order to withstand the rigors of the pro game; sees the ice well and displays impressive playmaking skills, but lacks consistency in all aspects of the game; needs to be more assertive on the ice, and better utilize his size to play in the corners
