Ducks to buy out Despres

Looks like he's battled concussions and crs the whole season (at least). He was placed on IR barely into the just-finished season. He signed his five year deal last summer. There's some debate as to whether the club is in a position to buy him out. If Despres isn't actually cleared to play, he's still on IR(?). If so, he'd have to agree to the buyout.
