Interesting deal. Edmonton seem to be thinking more long-term and Islanders seem desperate to have enough high end offensive pieces to get off to a fast start this fall and lure Tavares into signing.

Strome is a pretty maligned prospect. Eberle, for all his faults, was a pretty consistent 50 point player. I think he will compliment Tavares pretty well.
