Hard to figure out Russell. His advanced stats makes the possession people cringe, yet he still seems to be valued by more than a few people. I'm never impressed by high shot block numbers because it seems when you're on the ice, you have to be creating lots of opportunities to block shots so you're in your own end a lot. Blocking shots also hurts and is a recipe for injury so I hate them. But there certainly is value to blocking some shots. One needs a shot block quality meter
