Flyers send Schenn to Blues

After Hawks traded down so Dallas could pick Oettinger, who the Blues wanted, St Louis send Lehtera, their first and a conditional first next year to Philly for Schenn.

Lehtera makes a lot of money for little production.

Lehtera is not valuable and late first round picks develop into NHL keepers about 25 percent rate. I guess Hextall simply did not consider Schenn a core piece because his contract is not crazy.

Maybe Flyers have a UFA winger in mind?
