Dallas was one of the places rumoured to be interested. No idea the caliber of Ferguson. After protecting Karlsson, Methot will likely go on to protect Klingberg.

Ottawa fans were hoping the sens would trade to get Methot back but I heard on the radio the league said it's ot allowed. The NHL has said that it's not allowed if there is a clear delineation between the expansion draft and the trade back. If it's clear that the teams just came back around to talk about moving the player back, it would be permitted. |
