Vancouver signs Gagner, MDZ, and goalie Anders Nilsson (3x3, 2x3, 2x2)
Winnipeg signs Steve Mason (2x4.1) - that's a lot for a guy that battles consistency
Tampa signs Dan Girardi (2x3)
Trevor Daley to Detroit (3x3.178)
Brian Elliott to Philly (2x2.75)
Chad Johnson to Buffalo (1x2.5)
Patrick Sharp to Chicago (1x800k with 200k games played bonus)
Jonathan Bernier to Colorado (1x2.75)
Michael Haley to Florida
Ondrej Pavelec to NYR

If MTL could have landed Dadonov for $4.5 million, it probably makes signing Radulov easier Or not signing Radulov easier. Dadonov's rights were owned by the Panthers until tomorrow. Not sure what you mean by "not signing Radulov easier" ... Before that Schlemko deal, we had 21.5 million in cap space. Yes I keep harping back to Schlemko, cause he really isn't any better than what we had. But I digress ... With that 21.5 million, we conceivably could have given Radulov 6.5 million, Markov, 5.5 million, Galchenyuk 5 million, and had 4.5 million remaining for another player ... Yes, that's awful tight to the cap, but I am listing maximums here to show what is possible. With Dadonov, Radulov might even stay here for 6 million (or less?). I really don't think MB is smart enough to realize he had enough cap space, he really schlemkoed the situation |
