Here is a link to some Q's and A's with Lewiston MAINEiacs and Habs' prospect Mathieu Aubin who is quietly racking up some great stats this season even though his two talented linemates left the team to sign with their respective pro teams. He was injured during the rookie tourney, so I missed getting a chance to see him then, but did watch his one game that he played in the Canada-Russia challenge. Mathieu is one of a number of prospects who will be eligible to play in Hamilton next fall, so we could see a lot of new faces there next season. Until then, let's hope he can keep his good offensive season going. tinyurl.com/bgmeu

Impressive interview. The guy really seems to be a student of the game and someone who is willing to do what it takes to succeed.
If he, Chipchura and Grabovsky all make it to Hamilton next year, some guys are really going to be struggling to hold onto their jobs.

If those were indeed his verbatim responses, he seems to have a good attitude and appears to be a quick study. Finishing his checks leads to 2 more scoring chances a game, huh....sounds like an analyst. I think he meant plyometrics, not piometrics....an exercise used a lot by anyone needing to improve their jumping ability. Basically, it's the same as jumping a lot or running up stairs. But it sounds so impressive....PLYOMETRIC Man to the rescue!
