Danis, 24, has appeared in 23 games with the Bulldogs, posting a record of 10-11-1, with a 2.63 goals-against average, and a 0.913 save percentage.
The native of Lafontaine, Quebec, earned three straight wins with Hamilton from January 4 – January 7. During that stretch, Danis recorded a 1.61 goals-against average, and a 0.951 save percentage.
In six appearances with the Montreal Canadiens this season, Danis has earned a record of 3-2-0, with a 2.69 goals-against average and a 0.908 save percentage. The 6’0” 181-pound netminder was signed by the Montreal Canadiens as a free agent on March 19, 2004 after playing four seasons at Brown University.

And he did it with a defense that is worse than the Hab's D?

Aitken and Paul are not good, that's for sure. His team isn't scoring on him so lots seems to be riding on every save. Sounds like some league officials took notice and rewarded him with an injury callup to the All Star game. Nice to see, hope he enjoys, and hope he has a good second half.
