Trevor Linden ousted in Vancouver

Don't believe the Canucks press release....that Linden and the Canucks 'agreed' to part ways. Linden obviously didn't agree with Aquilini's direction on something and Trevor (another of the classy people in the league) is no longer a Canuck. LInden provided a press release himself and made no mention whatsoever about the reasons for leaving, or that it was 'amicable'.

Melnyk is the worst owner in the NHL. Very likely tied for second are the Aquilini's and the Molson's. That's so reassuring, having 3 of the worst owners in the NHL on Canadian clubs. Sigh.

Be interesting to see if anything becomes public. When I read through a few pages of posts on HF, opinions seemed split and very polarized. Those that were happy to see him go were ecstatic.

There’s a rabid core of unhinged Canuck fans. Same as other teams I guess.
