I like Quenneville and doubt he will be out of work for long if he still has a passion for coaching hockey. Maybe the twists and turns in life take him back to St. Louis.
The timing of this is kind of weird. I know that Chicago is on a losing streak, but going into the season if someone told management you're going to have 15 points in 15 games, I sort of imagine they would have shrugged their shoulders and said that sounds about right.
I think, strategically, the Blackhawks are pretty close to joining a couple of other (Rangers and Red Wings) original six franchises and going all in on Jack Hughes.
