Heard it on the team1200. Sens get Rob Ray for future considerations. IMO this is a good pick up for the Sens. They have Neil, Hnidy, Tederenko and now Ray. Should make for an interesting playoff. They might not even hook up with the Laffs, but would be a rough series.

Senators close to acquring May
TSN.ca Staff 3/10/2003
The Ottawa Senators appear on the verge of acquiring Phoenix Coyotes tough guy Brad May for future considerations, but it's not official yet.
Senators' general manager John Muckler said this morning that the deal is not yet done and reports of it being final are premature.
"I'm not saying it won't happen but the deal isn't done, we're not finished talking and to say it is done right now is to jump the gun," Muckler told TSN.
May, who joined the Coyotes from Vancouver in 2000, has been limited to just 19 games this season due to shoulder surgery.

Great fun stuff! But that makes it all the harder can't wait for the day when we can wheel and deal for a cup run. I'm sure this has a few of the leafs buzzing they have a real hate on for Ray right now. HFTO

A very wise move indeed, good for them. Rumor is that Scott Thornton is next for the Sens, wow what a battle of Ontario awaits us all.

They already 12 awesome forwards: Alfie White Arvedson Hossa Bonk Schaeffer Havlat Fisher Neil Van Allen Varada Spezza(if he sticks) all these goons will be sitting come playoff time if everyone is healthy. But still, I am all for them beating up on the Laffs ;D
