I'm feeling like similar behavior has occurred at other LNAH games. Goon league pandering to goon mentality. Sad.

That a-hole leaning over the penalty box should have been tossed from the arena permantently.Instead they just ask him to move? This whole league should disband.

It is unfortunate these deplorable actions continue happening. But behind the actions are attitudes. There are plenty of people who hold an ethnocentric worldview.
I vacation back home to Chile in July-August and it gives me pause to take my son to a futbol match because of the continued prevalence of racist attitudes and boorish behavior. The club that I loved since I was a small child, Universidad Catolica, has a small element of its fan base who harass and sing songs against Bolivians, indigenous peoples, Haitian immigrants, among others and as a parent this poses a dilemma. Most people are not bad and my inclination is to say well Nico is grade one now so he is old enough that I can explain to him that the things he is hearing at the stadium are wrong. However, my wife's preference is to not take children to football matches and in general to not tell them that some people in Chile as in Canada face discrimination.

You still see it in Scottish football as well. The two clubs in Glasgow ( Celtic & Rangers) are divided along religious lines - Catholic & Protestant respectively. I remember that it flared up when Celtics former (and new) manager, Neil Lennon, was sent threatening mail by a Rangers fan just a couple of years ago.
I find it very sad that the sectarian chanting is still going on.
