Nelson is a big guy with a pretty nice touch around the net. He is good for 20-25 goals and he fits the system there. If he was not a UFA I would say New York overpaid a bit, but given that he was set to be a UFA and moreover youngish for a guy reaching that status, it seems like a fair deal for all involved.
I think Lee is going to be signed. Eberle may be the odd man out, for sure if the Islanders pull off the coup of signing Panarin and maybe even if they do not.
