So, would you part with a capable 3rd liner for him? Say Lehkonen? Maybe Pu gets it going with KK?

Lekhonen is an NHL caliber player. Puljujarvi has proven he isn't yet. Maybe as part of something else?

Puljujarvi was probably rushed too soon into the league. But the red flags at this point seem to center around his year around commitment to his job and his hockey IQ.
I would agree that Lehkonen may not be a whole lot more than what we have seen, but he is a versatile third liner who works hard and does the little things right while on the ice.
I worry about Byron and Shaw piling up injuries in the next season or two, so I would not be averse one of them but not so much for a kid that has struggled so badly over three seasons to adapt to playing in the NHL.

I keep Lehkonen … I offer them Jordan Weal Your third line becomes Byron-Kotkaniemi-Puujarvi Your fourth line becomes Armia - Thompson - Poehling / or filler or switch Thompson to wing If we land an UFA … well people then move down the line

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to part with Arsi. I just think, if the word is true that they're looking for a 3rd line player, that he would be the demand. He's relatively young and has, imo, more potential/ceiling than Weal (for example).

If they would even consider Weal then I would throw in Hudon, McCarron, McNiven or a 4th just to make it look better for the Oilers. Regardless he is worth the phone call to see what it would take.

Two hip surgeries and we want him on our hard skating team? Or his demands on play me or else?
Did I miss something?

I suggested on Twitter that we move on from this guy ... a red flag went up with me just as soon as I read he demanded a trade ... I'm sorry to say, but we already have one of those guys on the team in Jonathan Drouin ... that's harsh, yes, but Drouin did that exact same thing in Tampa Bay ... I won't deny Jesse Puljujarvi has the talent, he does, I'm just not convinced he's what he's billed to be ... that's me, though ... Cheers.

Honestly, i don't know. He is a big kid with skill that can skate. Maybe a new place and some Finnish teammates help turn him around. It's hard to be motivated when you don't feel appreciated or valued.
