Three lineup changes for tonight's tilt in Hartford against the Wolfpack from the last game. Of significance is Juulsen's return to duty.

Man, this Habs organization. You start off the year with all kinds of hopes because the team seems like it should do ok, and then they find ways to lose. Both the Habs and the Rocket.

I remember reading an article about Bouchard an it was very complimentary about his rise and how he resurrected hockey in Blainville0-Boisbriand. His teams did well there, but he couldn't quite get to the Mem Cup. I thought he'd work out and he still might. If you look at his development work, Cale Fleury has progressed well and there are hopes for Otto Leskinen. Poehling is scoring now after a mental adjustment to being sent down. But they conntinue to lose. Their goaltending, at least when Primeau plays, has been pretty good. They're at .389 'winning' percentage right now.

Laval beat Providence 3-2 in a shootout. 3 points out of four this weekend on the road against strong teams.
Primeau with the win and 38 saves. Belzile and Ouellet with the goals. Varone with the SO winner. Juulsen is getting better, as he now has two games under his belt. McCarrn retuned to action after serving a two game suspension.
They are sneaking closer to a playoff spot.

Probably the toughest stretch of four games for the Rocket. Tonight and tomorrow against Hartford, and then weekend games against Utica and Toronto. Three teams without a regulation loss. Top of the AHL heap.
Laval starts it off with a bang, winning 4-1 against Hartford tonight. Their first regulation loss and only second loss in 10 games. Lindgren with the win. Goals by Hudon, Alain, McCarron and Jevpalovs.

Here is McCarron’s goal last night. It was a PP goal, and their PP has been quite good, but it has been their PK that has been top of the class. The Rocket have only conceded one PK goal against all season. The Rocket are definitely enjoying good special teams play so far. If their five on five continues to improve, they will see better results. They should have the talent to see that through.

Nice touch that they gave him an A this year. Bouchard did that last year too. McCarron wore the A for the first half of the season until he suffered his injury over the holidays during practice. I think he is really pushing McCarron to take on a bigger role. It was paying dividends right up to his injury, as last December he was playing some great hockey and getting results.

I either missed it or forgot. Looks like he's missed 6 games this year too. Gotta wonder if some of it is a result of the role he was clearly forced into.

On paper, Big Mac would be the big nasty we need on he fourth line. At this point, we can't bring him up because we'll lose him to waivers. ( correct me if im wrong).
I'm going to be on the side that says he's an AHL journeyman....but, part of the failure is our old couch'taters.

A bit more insight into why Bouchard reduced Poehling’s ice time as the game progressed on Wednesday night.

A big loss of a veteran and experienced forward. Not sure what the projected duration is.

Looks like you can free stream the Laval Rocket game on facebook tonight. Nothing screams fun Friday night like a minor pro hockey stream.

Vejdemo's cooking, but it's all about goaltending down there. Nice to see Brook score.

Tom Brady was picked at 199. Wonder if that's a good omen?

Primeau has been great this season so far, but he was not happy with his performance last night. Laval lost to the Baby Sens 5-4 in OT. They still get a point, but their six game win streak is over. Hudon had three goals, including the tying goal with Primeau pulled. Leskinen assisted on all three of Hudon’s goals. The Rocket have the most points in their tight division, but have played the most games (e.g., 3 more than the Marlies). Weird schedule.

Charles Hudon's hattrick last night was the first of his pro career. Too bad the boys lost the game in OT.
This is a very good wrist shot.

Rocket down a few vets for a while due to injuries, including their captain Ouellet.

Hudon leads the team with 8 goals this season. Is he still on the Habs' radar?

Olofsson, how is he playing? Just checking up on some of our LD prospects in Laval

Primeau with his first AHL shutout, so he appears to have bounced back quite well!
McCarron, Vejdemo and Evans with the goals. Vejdemo is playing his way to a call up at some point methinks.
