Montreal fans never hype anyone drafted after the 2nd round, and that's how it goes.
I've been a fan of Grabovski's for a while now, but all anyone cares to know about are the prospects you constantly hear about. Most of Montreal's current defence didn't come from the 1st two rounds, none of our goalies did, and most importantly our top goalscorer sure wasn't picked early in a draft. At any rate, that's enough griping. Everyone will get to see this guy get his chance at the big show, surprise or not, and everyone wins.
One thing that strikes me as odd is that I have yet to hear a comparison to our beloved Captain. Not necessarily in terms of style, but the circumstances in which they came over to North America. Koivu was quite dominant in international competition, as is Grabovski.
