The @winnipeg Jets and D Dustin Byfuglien are working towards the termination of his contract, TSN’s Frank Seravalli reported Monday morning.

Seravalli reported that the termination would be mutual between the two parties and could be completed over the next several days. link

I wonder if the Habs have a d-man that can help the Jets, 'cause they sure need one!.

Are you kidding? We need defensemen!

Curious though about Buff if this means that he's taking a hiatus. If it's a retirement, then a contract termination doesn't generally occur beforehand, does it?

I think that termination means no retirement, no papers filed, no cap penalty.
