This game worth watching. While we are on break from NHL regular season. I stumbled on it about a month ago. Good interview with Sam Pollock during intermission. www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNmA714_94w

Love the intro, love those powder blue polyester blazers, and Danny Gallivan!

Only Danny Gallivan would say the Bruins were inveigling the Canadiens into making mistakes.

The original black Tuuk blades. I remember when those came out. They were the COOLEST thing I'd ever seen.
And the commercials! OMG, the old Molson Ex ad with the stubby bottles and I remember that Scotiabank jingle.

Classic, the powder blue blazers, Lou Nanne sweating so much he looked like he was tied down under a heat lamp.
The Canadiens, wow what is there to say, un lujo, una machina, I do not believe it is possible to recreate this era or anything half that. But it would be nice to actually see an organization that relentlessly pursues excellence and makes accountability count for something.

Love the state-of-the-art graphics in the intro ... I like listening to Dave Hodge's segments ... he's quite active on Twitter, too ... "(Montreal) where hockey's king" ... if it weren't for Bobby Orr, Brad Park would probably have had a Norris Trophy or two ... I probably watched the game by myself just in case the Habs lost ...
Cheers.

Classic, the powder blue blazers, Lou Nanne sweating so much he looked like he was tied down under a heat lamp. We could classify those blazers as part of Canadian hockey history ... that original HNIC logo, too ... just great triggers ... Cheers.

OMG, the old Molson Ex ad with the stubby bottles and I remember that Scotiabank jingle. This goes back about 25 years but my son had a pair CCM skates with the black Tuuk blades and black laces instead of traditonal white. They called them Black Tacks. Very cool at the time.
